Privacy Policy
Version 2.1, effective October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GoldBlock Workshop, LLC ("GoldBlock Workshop," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit goldblockworkshop.com (the "Site") or email us. It describes only what the Site does today. If we add a newsletter, a contact form, accounts or paid tools in future, this policy will be updated first.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email messages: when you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and anything you attach. The Site has no contact form and no newsletter sign-up today.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and referring pages in order to serve and protect the Site.
- Site analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views and to measure how fast pages load, in aggregate, using information such as the page visited, the referring site, your country, and your browser, operating system and device type. It does not use cookies or local storage. Cloudflare states that it does not track visitors over time by their IP address, user agent string or other immutable attributes, and does not fingerprint individuals through them.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy. The Site sets no non-essential cookies today. Your choice in the cookie banner is saved in your browser's local storage on your device, so the banner does not reappear on every visit; it is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Affiliate link activity: when you click a link marked "Paid link," the destination retailer or affiliate network may record the click through its own cookies, under its own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
How we use information
- To read and reply to your email.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used.
- To meet legal, tax and compliance obligations.
We use AI tools in our work. A message you send us may be processed with AI tools under our control to help us read, research or draft a reply. We do not use your messages to train AI models.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Site, and only as needed for them to perform their services for us:
- Hosting, content delivery and site analytics (Cloudflare): to serve and protect the Site and to measure its use and performance in aggregate.
- Email: our email provider stores the messages you send us.
- AI tools: as described above, under our control.
Retailers and affiliate networks you reach through a "Paid link" are not our service providers; they collect information under their own policies. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not authorize our service providers to use your information for their own purposes.
Tracking, "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control
The Site does not track visitors across other websites and does not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity over time and across different websites. The only measurement that runs is Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above, which sets no cookies. Because the Site does not perform cross-site tracking, it does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals; there is nothing for those signals to turn off. If that changes, this policy will say so first.
Where we operate
We operate from California, United States, and the Site is published for readers in the United States. Information is processed in the United States by us and by our service providers. We do not direct the Site to readers outside the United States.
Data retention
Email you send us is kept for as long as we need it to reply, keep a record of a correction or complaint, or meet a legal obligation, and then deleted. Server logs and analytics are kept by Cloudflare under its own retention schedule, in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
- Everyone: you may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
- California: California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, to know what personal information a business holds, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not treat you differently for exercising any right. Whether that law applies to a business of our size is a legal question; we honor these requests regardless.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
The Site links to other websites, including retailers. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy
This is version 2.1 of this policy. When we change it, the version number and effective date above change, and a change in what we collect or how we use it is made here before it takes effect.
